Robert Gordon is the senior vice president of policy, research & international for APCIA. Prior to joining PCI, Robert spent 17 years in the U.S. House of Representatives as a senior counsel for the Committees on Financial Services and Energy and Commerce. He has drafted portions of major bills including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, Terrorism Risk Insurance Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and Dodd-Frank Act. He has a Juris Doctorate, with honors, from the Georgetown University Law Center, an MBA from the Peter F. Drucker School of Management, and is a former Certified Financial Planner.
