EuroCatalyst 2003 was held 22-24 October at the Four Seasons Ritz Hotel Lisbon. The event followed the natural progression of the mortgage value chain from origination to distribution to underwriting, risk management, and administration to funding, including covered bonds, emerging frameworks for structured covered bonds and mortgage-backed securities.
A few key elements held over from Madrid included board room and regional market sessions, networking and electronic interactivity, which placed event participants in cabaret-style seating with interactive screen, allowing audience members to send questions to the stage and take a closer look at speaker presentations.
The event also hosted an elaborate dinner and concert by Larry Carlton and the Sapphire Blues Band for all participants to the event.
