Differentiated by its purpose, and not its profit, the AmeriCatalyst / EuroCatalyst event series is about education and interaction, and features candid, thought-provoking dialogue between panelists and the audience in an uniquely creative and entertaining atmosphere. The series was created and driven by professionals working in the capital markets and mortgage industry for their peers.

In the absence of a single, industry-wide solution, this year we featured four of the most practical and viable proposals from different sectors of the industry to move mortgage markets forward. Our theme of “convergence” referred to the delicate state of interdependence in a globalized world which impacts the strategy of all firms involved in the mortgage lifecycle and requires changing the way we think and interact with clients and competitors both locally and globally.

As always, we presented our hallmark program beginning with a global macroeconomic overview of factors impacting the mortgage industry including capital flows and funding, and transitioned to the most crucial issues of the main sectors of the mortgage lifecycle with an emphasis on servicing.
