JK Huey

JK Huey is senior vice president of Wells Fargo Home Lending Asset Management and Preservation, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. In her role, Huey is directly responsible for managing all REO (real estate owned) and property preservation activities for the servicing channel.

Huey, a 30+-year veteran of the mortgage industry, joined Wells Fargo in 2009. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, she was the servicing manager at IndyMac Bank and held senior management positions with Washington Mutual and HomeSide Lending. Huey has managed customer service, default management, escrow administration, cash management, investor reporting, acquisitions, and retail production.

Along with being a Certified Mortgage Banker, Accredited Mortgage Professional, a member of the MORPAC and Loan Administration Steering Committees with the Mortgage Bankers Association of America, Huey was president of the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association from 1998-1999 and chairman of multiple committees. She is the recipient of the Young Mortgage Banker of the Year Award in 1992, the Larry E. Temple Distinguished Servicer Award for 2012, and the 2014 Five Star Lifetime Achievement Award. She also has experience on the Black Knight Mortgage Advisory Board, Freddie Mac Servicer Advisory Board, Fannie Mae Customer Advisory Group, and the National Mortgage Servicing Association.

Huey is a graduate of the MBA School of Mortgage Banking and holds the designations of Master Certified Mortgage Banker and Accredited Mortgage Professional. She also has a master’s degree in Business Administration from Our Lady of the Lake University, San Antonio, Texas.
